Former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Thulani Zandamela is currently training with TS Galaxy with a view of landing his next move.
The 24-year-old burst onto the scene in South African football as one of the standout talents in Varsity Football Tournament with the University of Johannesburg and went on to join Sundowns, where he starred in their DStv Diski Challenge squad and trained with the club’s senior side back in 2022.
He later joined AmaTuks on loan for regular first team opportunities for two consecutive seasons before his eventual exit and at the start of the campaign was snapped up by Marumo Gallants.
But iDiski Times has been informed the player parted ways with Gallants before the most recent transfer window shut and has been training at the Rockets.
With Siphamandla Ngwenya and Siphesihle Tati as their youthful attacking midfield options, Tshepo Kakora and Mpho Mvelase have also featured in the role – Zandamela could be a welcomed addition to the squad.
Galaxy are currently in process of securing a new head coach with Admir Adžem awaiting his work permit for his official switch to succeed Bernard Parker in the role.
The Bafana Bafana legend looks set to be retained as an assistant while he continues his coaching education and remains in high regard to Chairman Tim Sukazi.
