Chiefs were held to a 1-1 draw by Stellenbosch FC in midweek, which was their fifth draw in their last six league games.
However, they now shift their focus to the CAF Confederation Cup, with a place in the group stages up for grabs.
While Fernando Da Cruz’s men had a bye in the opening round, Red Arrows beat Madagascan side Inate Rouge 4-0 on aggregate.
Chiefs arrived in Zambia on Thursday, with Da Cruz naming a 23-man traveling squad, including Faiz Abrahams who was set to start against Stellenbosch but had to be withdrawn from the line-up over a technical blunder relating to Chiefs’ loan agreement with the Cape Winelands side.
The French coach confirmed that his selection will be similar to the one against Stellies, with the likes of Brandon Petersen, Langelihle Phili, Lebohang Maboe and Siphesihle Ndlovu remaining sidelined, while Luke Baartman has seemingly recovered from his most recent injury.
