The agreement marks a new chapter for Usuthu as they continue to strengthen their commercial partnerships and brand presence.
“Today is an important moment for the club. We’re welcoming a new partner [Amstel], but we are also reflecting on what Amazulu Football Club stands for and where we want to go next,” said club’s president Sandile Zungu.
“The standing that Amstel and Amazulu Football Club enjoy today has been earned over time. Both understand that respect tells gold.
“This gives us a strong foundation for a partnership that can grow with meaning rather than simply visibility. It is not just about visibility. The strongest partnerships do not ask either side to become something else.
“They build on values both already recognised. This partnership creates an opportunity to add value where it matters the most – around the team, our supporters and the wider Amazulu community.”
The latest agreement comes a month after AmaZulu announced a strategic youth development partnership with Spanish LaLiga club Levante UD in September 2026, demonstrating the club’s efforts on building relationships that extend beyond traditional sponsorship agreements.

AmaZulu have become the second Premier Soccer League club to partner with Amstel, following in the footsteps of Orlando Pirates.
