Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane has included Percy Tau in his squad for the Egyptian Premier League opener against Ismaily, which could see the South African winger make his debut.
The ‘Club of the Century’ beat USGN of Niger 6-1 on the weekend to book their spot in the CAF Champions League group stage but Tau had missed both legs of the second-round clash.
However, he seems to have returned to full fitness and could finally make his debut for the club when they travel to Ismaily on Wednesday.
In addition to Tau, former Sundowns winger Luis Miquissone also makes Al Ahly’s squad but the 26-year-old already made his debut in the Egyptian Super Cup defeat on penalties against El Geish.
Both Tau and Miquissone were signed after the CAF registration deadline but will be able to be registered for the group stage of the Champions League.
