Cape Town City and Kaizer Chiefs have announced their starting XIs for Tuesday evening’s DStv Premiership encounter.
City and Amakhosi couldn’t play their first round match due to the Covid-19 outbreak at Naturena last year In November, forcing the team to close the Village.
The outcome of the game is yet to be decided after the latest arbitration case was postponed by the South African Football Association – Chiefs had not appeared for the fixture, while City and the match officials followed all protocols.
Tonight’s match will be both teams first game after their respective losses in the Nedbank Cup round of 32.
Amakhosi, though, visit the Citizens with a great record against the Capetonians, having won 18, drawn five and lost three of the 26 games played, but City won the most recent game at FNB Stadium.
The two teams will lock horns at Cape Town Stadium at 19:30 today.
