TTM Players Finally Get Paid

After iDiskiTimes reported that Tshakuma Tsha Madzivhandila failed to pay their players in December and only paying them half their salary in November, the club has now finally paid their dues

On Tuesday, iDiski Times reported that several players left the club since rent for the club house, which served as accommodation to many of them, was not paid and that they didn’t receive any salaries since mid-November.

Many players were left stranded without anything in their pockets and some had to go back home, leading to the club losing 7-1 against All Stars FC in the Nedbank Cup qualifier this past weekend.

This publication spoke with few players from the club again on Wednesday and they confirmed that they finally received their salaries and they’ve been instructed to go back to training, as they preparing for their game against All Stars FC on Saturday afternoon.

“After the article [by iDiski Times] we got paid and we going back to training today and we received our full salaries,” one of the players told this publication.

“We are happy to go back to training and fight and we wish it stays like this every month.”

Vhandau Vha Damani started the season very well but we saw their performance dropping and they are now sitting ninth in the Motsepe Foundation Championship standings.

Last weekend, they got knocked out of the Nedbank Cup qualifiers after losing 7-1 to All Stars, with the players claiming they had not trained ahead of the match due to salary issues.

TTM team manager Azwihangwisi Phasha had dismissed the report when contacted for a comment.
