Milford, AmaTuks and Maritzburg United booked have advanced in the Nedbank Cup qualifiers played out on Wednesday afternoon.
Siposethu Ndlabi bagged a brace for Milford as they downed Upington City, while United ousted Black Leopards 2-1 with Friday Samu and Siboniso Conco finding the net – while Bethuel Muzeu scored for the Venda-based side.
In the other game of the second-tier sides opening qualifiers, Venda and AmaTuks were involved in an enthralling shootout after a 1-1 draw.
Moeketsi Sekola and Delano Abrahams scored for either side before a dramatic 10-9 shootout win for the Tshwane-based outfit.
They joined Platinum City Rovers, JDR Stars, Baroka, Hungry Lions and Pretoria Calles to advance to the next round of the competition.
