Stellenbosch FC climbed to the top of the DStv Diski Challenge table, while Orlando Pirates move to third place after both won on Saturday.
Stellies came out victorious in a five goals thriller against AmaZulu FC at Idas Valley Stadium on Saturday. Goals from Simthandile Sishi, Tylon Smith and Ethan Felix sent the Cape Winelands side to the top.
Meanwhilel, the Buccanneers returned to winning ways after demolishing Moroka Swallows by 4-0 away from home. Pirates went into the break with a comfortable 3-0 lead thanks to goals from Mbekezeli Mbokazi, Gosiamo Ngobeni and Ciniso Mazibuko before Nzimande sealed the win on 80th minute.
Mamelodi Sundowns dropped to second place but they will have a chance to get back to the top on Sunday morning when they face Chippa United.
