Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena has reflected on their victory over Sead Ramovic-led TS Galaxy in the DStv Premiership.
The league leaders coasted to a 3-0 win over the CAF inter-club qualification-chasing Rockets who have been in sublime form of late.
Peter Shalulile bagged a brace while Thembinkosi Lorch added a third in the second half as they moved within one win of their seventh consecutive league title and 47 games unbeaten in the South African top-flight.
“No [it was not sweeter] because I’m [a] football [man], God Knows the truth, you saw what Sailor said, I loved what Sailor said when he was asked the question, he said both myself and coach Rulani know the truth, and God knows the truth in what happened in that incident,” Mokwena said.
“So football is football, I’m glad we won the match, that was the most important thing for this football club, to win the match and the way we won it, is what makes me happy the most.”
Sundowns now turn their attention to Kaizer Chiefs on Thursday before their Nedbank Cup semi-final against Stellenbosch in the Western Cape on Sunday.
