A Kaizer Chiefs Legends team won a ‘Soweto Derby’ battle in KwaZulu-Natal on Saturday, when they defeated Orlando Pirates Legends via a penalty shootout.
The Chiefs team won the penalty shootout 9-8 after a goalless draw between the two rivals.
The game was played to inaugurate a sports complex that the Umfolozi Municipality was naming in honour of Siyabonga Sangweni who played for Pirates between 2011 and 2016.
