Polokwane City midfielder Cole Alexander is preparing for life after football after completing his SAFA D License.
Alexander returned to South Africa at the beginning of the 2023/24 season to join Rise and after spending two seasons at Swedish side Helsingborgs IF under Stuart Baxter.
The former Kaizer Chiefs hard-tackling midfielder spent three weeks in Langa, Cape Town, under the Langa Football Association led by Zolisa Tungwana to complete his SAFA D License, and iDiski Times spoke with the veteran midfielder regarding this new journey.

“Yeah, was privileged to have gotten the chance to do it, it’s so informative, and I’m very happy I did it, especially since I’m passionate about working with kids,” Alexander told iDiski Times.
“I am now better equipped with a better understanding of the younger ones.”
Alexander made 10 appearances in all competitions for Rise and Shine during the 2023/24 campaign, providing a single assist. He also helped City to qualify for MTN8.
The former Bidvest Wits midfielder is still under contract with City even though his contract is set to expire at the end of June 2024, as he signed a short-term deal in January.
