Chippa United goalkeeper coach Sean Louw has announced his exit from the Chilly Boys and is set to join Rulani Mokwena at Wydad Athletic Club.
Louw was still contracted with the PSL club for three more seasons but is held in high regard by Mokwena, and now announced his exit from the club.

“Greetings to the chairman of the club, The Executive Director, The General Manager, Team Manager, The Techical Team, The Support Staff, Stadium Management and most importantly, the players,” he wrote on social media.
“As tough as it is to make a decision of this magnitude, l’ve decided to spread my wings and fly as high as I can, for now.
“Some might say I’m too young and I’m not ready for such a challenge, but one thing I’ve learnt in life is that if you’re good enough, you’re old enough.
“With that being said, I would like to officially announce my departure from Chippa United Football Club.
“We’ve had a season of ups and downs but most importantly, we managed to stay up. We scored many goals, conceded a few, but most importantly, we had a lot of fun achieving our goals together.
“I was always taught to leave a place in a better state than you found it. and I can confidently say that, finally, our best was.”
At Wydad, Louw will join more fellow countrymen in Mokwena’s technical team, namely: Alan Freese, who works as Technical Advisor, Sibusiso Makitla (analyst) and Sibusiso Mahlangu (fitness trainer), as reported by iDiski Times.
Louw previously worked alongside Mokwena’s new Wydad assistant coach Sinethemba Badela at All Stars before their status sale.
He has worked closely with Nigerian goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali during his time at Chippa, and helped the 28-year-old to his first call-up to the Super Eagles before the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The 31-year-old, who had an exclusive interview with iDiski Times in edition, has also previously worked with Bloemfontein Celtic ladies Banyana Banyana.
