Mamelodi Sundowns have recalled Erwin Saavedra from his loan at Club Bolivar after six months.
The Bolivia international star struggled to make an impact at Sundowns after his lucrative move due to injuries.
However, he seemingly reignited the form that made him one of the hottest prospects in his home country after returning on a season-long loan meant to end in December.
After featuring in 14 games for the club, he has notably been left out of the team of late after Sundowns expressed their interest in recalling the 18-time capped international.
Now Bolivar has confirmed he’s returning to South Africa ahead of the 2024/25 season where he is expected to form part of the Masandawana first-team.
