TS Galaxy have secured the signing of Ivory Coast international goalkeeper Eliza Ira Tape ahead of the new season.
The 26-year-old joins the club after a stint in Ethiopia as the direct replacement for Fiacre Ntwari who has joined Kaizer Chiefs.
Tape, was previously linked with moves to South Africa in the past after starring for SAN PEDRO in his homeland shortly after returning to his native country from ASPIRE Academy.
He was part of the nation’s Olympic squad in 2021 and has since earned two senior caps for the reigning African champions.
Al Hilal was also linked with a move for the goalkeeper who becomes the second Ivorian in the South African top-flight after Badra Ali Sangare of Sekhukhune United.
