Mamelodi Sundowns have announced the signing of South American defender Lucas Suarez.
Suarez, 29, shared a dressing room for the past six months with Matias Esquivel at Talleres de Córdoba and is another addition to the Masandawana backline.
The left centre-back has agreed to join Sundowns on a six-month loan with an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.
Sundowns become Suarez’s seventh club after he featured for CA Talleres, Arsenal FC, Quilmes AC, AA Estudiantes (Río Cuarto), CA Sarmiento (Junin) and Defensa y Justicia.
