Nabi Breaks Silence On Tunisia Job

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi has revealed that he has rejected an offer to coach Tunisia’s national team.

The Tunisian mentor joined Chiefs at the beginning of the season and saw his team climb into fourth place on the Betway Premiership log after Stellenbosch FC on Friday.

There had been rumours that Nabi was approached by the Tunisian FA for the head coach role, with the Chiefs coach confirming he received an approach, however, he rejected it to continue his project at Naturena.

“I’d like to say thank you to Dr. Kaizer Motaung, to Kaizer Jr., Bobby Motaung and the entire management.

“I have been offered an opportunity to go coach my country and we have sat together and we have decided that I’m going to pass this big opportunity to coach my country.

“But as well it’s honour to be here and I say thank to everyone from the management.”

This publication can confirm Sami Trabelsi has agreed to take the reigns of the Carthage Eagles for a second stint after a long protracted process of finding a new leader for the 2004 African champions.
