Miguel Cardoso’s charges were however brought back to earth on Tuesday night after a narrow 1-0 defeat to in-form TS Galaxy as they suffered their second defeat of the campaign.
‘The General’ also added that the match between Sundowns and Pirates was a statement of why the Tshwane giants have been on top for so long.

“And I think that’s the game that reminded everybody as to then why Sundowns is Sundowns.
“And I strongly believe, it should’ve been more goals and it certified as to then who Footballer of the Year is.
