The starting line-ups for the Nedbank Cup Last 16 clash between Kaizer Chiefs and Chippa United at FNB Stadium this evening have been announced.
Amakhosi have an opportunity to keep their chances of winning a trophy this season with the Nedbank Cup. They are coming to this game at the back of a win against Stellenbosch away from home.
To be at this stage of the competition, they eliminated amateur side Free Agents FC by a comfortable 4-0 score-line at the FNB Stadium. They will look to get to the Nedbank Cup quarter-final for only the second time in five seasons.
Meanwhile, Chippa United recently suffered a 1-0 defeat against TS Galaxy away from home, which was their fourth loss in seven matches.
The Eastern Cape-based side knocked out Lamontville Golden Arrows by 2-0 to reach the Round of 16 of the Nedbank Cup. They aim to reach the quarter-finals for the fifth consecutive time.
These two sides recently faced each other in the league and Amakhosi came victorious by 1-0 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
