Fadlu Davids’ Simba SC hammered Dodoma Jiji 6-0 to move within one point of league leaders Yanga.
Elie Mpanzu opened the scoring as early as the 16th minute before Jean Ahoua doubled the hosts’ lead in the 20th minute.
The 23-year-old Ivorian international then bagged his brace in the 45th minute as the Reds of Simbazi went into the half-time break with the comfortable lead.
In the second period, Simba picked up where they left off as Steven Mukwala added Simba’s fourth in 46th minute.
