Galaxy Set Sights On Chiefs’ DDC Title-Winner

TS Galaxy have set their sight on Kaizer Chiefs‘ reserve team captain Ntandoyenkosi Nkosi after leading his charges to the DStv Diski Challenge league title.

Nkosi has been in Chiefs’ development for quite some time where he also won the Engen Champs Of Champs alongside the likes of Mfundo Vilakazi and Wandisile Duba who are now part of the senior side.

Sources close to the publication have revealed that the Rockets are looking to add Nkosi to their ranks after a stellar season with Amakhosi, becoming the first Chiefs captain to lift the DDC title.

The 20-year-old is currently in training with Chiefs’ reserve side as they prepare for the NEXTGEN tournament alongside English Premier League sides though the tournament has since been postponed due to political tensions between India and Pakistan.

The Rockets already managed to snap up Puso Dithejane and Khulumane Ndamane from Chiefs’ youth structures for alleged misconduct and have become regulars in the senior team.

The pursuit of Nkosi demonstrates Galaxy’s commitment to building a youthful squad to blend with experience ahead of the upcoming season.
