Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United have announced their respective starting lineups for this evening’s Betway Premiership clash at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
The league title has been wrapped up with Mamelodi Sundowns crowned champions for the 15th time in PSL history. Also, Pirates are just honouring fixtures after they officially qualified for the CAF Champions League for next season.
Matsatsantsa’s safety is not yet guaranteed as they are still fighting to avoid playing playoffs as they languish in 14th place with 26 points with only three games remaining. In those three games, they will face Golden Arrows after the game was abandoned earlier on in the season.
These two sides faced each other three times already this season, in the MTN8 quarterfinals where Pirates won 3-1 after extra time, in the league where it finished 2-0 in favour of the Buccaneers and the recent one was in the Nedbank Cup when Pirates won 5-4 on penalties.
