The Premier Soccer League have confirmed the prize money as well as a new theme for this year’s MTN8, which kicks off the 2025/26 domestic season this coming weekend.
Defending champions, Orlando Pirates kick off the tournament at home against Polokwane City, before Sekhukhune United host TS Galaxy.
On Sunday, Stellenbosch FC host AmaZulu, while Mamelodi Sundowns and Richards Bay complete the quarter-finals.
This year’s campaign runs under the banner “Bazok’feela – they gon’ feel you“, which embodies the attitude and spirit of the fans who back their teams no matter what, on and off the pitch. From the way they dress, the songs they sing, the banter and the undying belief in the teams they support. MTN want to tap into the culture and celebrate it the best way possible.
