Stellenbosch FC head coach Steve Barker has stated their influential winger Devin Titus has no desire for a move in the Premier Soccer League as he looks to reach his dream of a transfer to Europe.
Stellies have lost several of their key players in recent seasons from Sibongiseni Mthethwa, Junior Mendieta, Olwethu Makhanya, Antonio van Wyk, Jayden Adams, Iqraam Rayners, Ismael Toure and Fawaaz Basadien – but continue to grow from strength to strength.

This is down to their meticulous planning, recruitment and transfer strategy in place with sound administration and long-term vision with Barker being their only head coach since the club was formed eight years ago.
But Titus, who was lured to the club from Hellenic and rose towards the first team via the DStv Diski Challenge squad, looks poised to be the next player in-demand as one of their standout players.
“Devin is our player, he has ambitions to go to Europe only, he doesn’t have any other ambitions to play locally for any other teams, so he wants to play in Europe,” Barker said about their star winger.
“If he continues to do what he’s doing, hopefully we can help him achieve that dream, if not at the end of this season, within seasons to come.”
Titus has been an ever-present figure in the first team making 136 appearances over the past four seasons, scoring 33 goals with 13 assists to his name.
