Maboe Makes Chiefs Squad For CAFCC Clash

Kaizer Chiefs have named their travelling squad set for their 1st leg CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round qualifier against AS Simba in DR Congo this weekend.

The most eye-catching name has to be their new signing Lebogang Maboe, who could be in line for his club debut, since joining as a free agent after a successful spell at Mamelodi Sundowns.

Maboe, 31, has returned to the club where he once formed part of their development squad, with loads of domestic, and continental experience after nine years and close to 300 professional appearances in the top-flight.

Khanyisa Mayo, who missed the registration for the opening round against Kabuscorp is also part of the team, but Etiosa Ighodaro misses out as he continued to work to get back to full fitness.
