Pirates will be looking to return to winning ways after drawing 1-1 with Mamelodi Sundowns in their previous match. Meanwhile, the KZN outfit comes to the match after a 4-0 thrashing of Marumo Gallants.
The Sea Robbers arrived in Durban on Tuesday, with Relebohile Mofokeng, who has been sidelined for weeks, spotted among the traveling team.
The club reported on their website on Tuesday that Mofokeng and Selepe are close to returning to action after watching from the stands for some time.
“There could be a reshuffling of the pack in a match that kicks off a busy week, with the likes of Relebohile Mofokeng and Simphiwe Selepe nearing a return after missing out on a fair bit of the action this season,” the club stated.
Mofokeng’s last appearance came when Pirates defeated Siwelele 1-0 in the Carling Knockout. Meanwhile, Selepe has not played an official match this season.
