Sekhukhune United coach Eric Tinkler has made an honest admission about his team in the second round of 2025/26 season.
Babina Noko were among the standout sides earlier in the campaign, at one stage sitting third and firmly in the top four.
However, their form has dipped, with the team now down to sixth place on 34 points after 22 matches.
A 1-0 loss to Golden Arrows this past weekend extended their winless run to four league games and five across all competitions.
Tinkler admitted their recent performances have been “disappointing,” noting they are lacking confidence and belief.
“We’re having a disappointing second half of the season, we’re not performing with a confidence and belief that we had in the beginning of the season,” said Tinkler.
“Now, it’s about trying to find that confidence, that belief, that composure.”
With regards to the defeat to Arrows on Sunday, Tinkler said, “There was a lot of moments in the game where we didn’t show composure, we panicked on the ball.”
“They didn’t really pose us any major threat, especially in possession when they had the ball, we dealt with them quite comfortably.
“It’s just that moment, lapse of concentration in possession and you give it away close to your goalmouth.”
