Orlando Pirates assistant coach Mandla Ncikazi says if Kaizer Chiefs go into the Soweto derby this weekend with a vengeful mentality, it could work for his side.
Pirates hosts their bitter rivals in a sold-out affair at the FNB Stadium on Sunday with high stakes for both sides already having taken maximum points from Chiefs in the first meeting in February.

The Soweto sides are both enjoying good form in the league both unbeaten in their last six outings, scoring high and also having conceded less.
The Buccaneers currently top the Betway Premiership table with 58 points in 25 outings while Amakhosi are third with 46 points in 24 matches.
Ncikazi was asked at a press conference about the derby on how he’d prepare for revenge and he said if that’s the attitude from the opposition, all Pirates have to do is respond.
The coach added that the Sea Robbers have proven they can handle any kind of scenario.
“Sometimes it works better if a person is coming with revenge, it works better in a football match,” said Ncikazi.
“For us is just to respond. The beauty about this team this season, we can play against a low block, we’re comfortable. We can play against a team that is trying to dominate with the ball. You know the outcomes of those teams that wants to go toe-to-toe with us.
“So for me, we’ll play whatever is in front of us based on what they do we’ll try and respond. Fortunately, we’ve got a very good and mature team. You don’t have to shout very loud on what the opponents are posing and in our preparation. We prepare for all scenarios.
“So, whatever the opponents are posing, I am confident that the capacity within the team will overcome the opponents.”
