Orlando Pirates attacking midfielder Relebohile Mofokeng has made a vow to the fans after his side dropped crucial points in the Soweto Derby against Kaizer Chiefs.
The Buccaneers were held to a 1-1 draw by Amakhosi, a result that dented their Betway Premiership title hopes and left them in second place with 59 points from 26 matches. Meanwhile, Mamelodi Sundowns remain at the summit with 64 points.

Mofokeng noted that while the team gave everything to secure maximum points in the derby, luck wasn’t on their side.
He insisted they will continue to work tirelessly in the remaining fixtures, as their ultimate goal remains clinching the league title.
“A tough game against a very tough opponent. I mean the Soweto Derby is always difficult,” he told OP TV.
“But, yeah, I think the gents did very well. We managed to get one goal but then they also got a goal. Yeah, I think we can go away with that point.
“The game was tough. We tried everything we could. We tried creating chances, we tried defending and we also tried everything to score because we want to win the league.
“We went all out, so I think our best is always enough. We will go ahead and continue working.”
