Durban City have secured the services of Kyle Jurgens on a permanent deal who has attracted major interest after an impressive loan spell from Stellenbosch FC.
Sources have indicated the two parties agreed financial terms after City took up the option to buy him from Stellenbosch that was in place when the initial loan was negotiated in July.

It’s believed he agreed a three-year deal, which proved to be a major coup for City, as it’s known that Sundowns made contact with Stellenbosch over the midfield talent – however, the player was not keen on a loan move to the second-tier.
He opted for City to establish himself in the top-flight, which paid dividends with Jurgens becoming a key figure in the starting line-up and winning the Nedbank Cup in his debut season.
The 22-year-old missed only three league games all season, featuring as a box-to-box midfielder, primarily alongside Brooklyn Poggenpoel and Thabo Nodada.
