Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Nkosingiphile Ngcobo is looking for a great end to the season as they prepare for their penultimate clash against AmaZulu on Saturday.
‘Mshini’ completed the entire 90 minutes for Amakhosi in their previous Betway Premiership clash as they beat Sekhukhune United 2-0 to pass the 50-point mark for the first time in six years.

The 26-year-old scored Amakhosi’s first league goal of the 2025/26 season with a sublime freekick as they beat Stellenbosch FC 2-0 at Athlone Stadium but saw less game time as the season progressed.
Chiefs take on Usuthu at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday as they look to pick up maximum points after the first-round tie ended in an entertaining 1-1 draw at FNB Stadium.
Despite already sealing third spot and CAF Confederation Cup football for next season, Ngcobo says they will not be complacent in their last two games as they are aware of the threat AmaZulu poses.
“We are doing our usual build-up, preparing our game-plan with the coaches. We will have to work hard because it will not be an easy game,” he told the club’s official website.
“We know how dangerous AmaZulu can be with Coach Arthur [Zwane] so we are expecting a tough match and we are ready to fight for the win.
“It’s a great feeling to know that we are going to play in CAF competition again next season. It is something we wanted to achieve as a team, and we are happy to have done it with two games to spare. I am excited for it. It will be difficult, but we will benefit from the experience.
“I consider this to be a good season, not great because at Kaizer Chiefs the expectations are higher, but after the last few years I think we turned a corner and are heading in the right direction.
“We will take what we have learned and try to improve for next season.”
