iDiski TV analyst Junior Khanye is sympathising with Orlando Pirates fans after the side’s goalless draw with Durban City in their penultimate match of the season on Saturday.
The result at the Orlando Amstel Arena saw the Buccaneers remaining in second position on the Betway Premiership table with 66 points, two points from log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns who have wrapped up their campaign.

There had been expectation from large parts of the media and fans that Pirates would make light work of the newly crowned Nedbank Cup champions and seal the title before the last game.
Now they must defeat relegation-threatened ORBIT College in the last game of the season away in Mbombela next week to dethrone Sundowns.
Khanye said he feels sorry for the Ghost faithful likening their disappointment to a romantic relationship heartbreak.
“What happened to Orlando Pirates is like a woman, a girlfriend on her birthday,” said Khanye on iDiski TV.
“She personally goes all out and buys a cake; buy you preferred drinks and other things you like. Then gets home and sets the table and you don’t come back home.
“Like Mr Party is not there that’s very painful. I feel sorry for Orlando Pirates fans.
As far as the game was concerned, the iDiski TV analyst said he didn’t understand coach Abdeslam Ouaddou’s selection of the starting team.
“And going to the game just the starting 11, I’m surprised at Ouaddou starting with [Simphiwe] Selepe in a game like this,” added Khanye.
“Ouaddou has experience of coaching in the Betway Premiership and coaching from where he was before. It was disappointing how he started.
“The boy got a yellow card in 20 minutes, and I wasn’t surprised because if you don’t play competitive football for a while, even if you train with the team, you are still nervous. You lack confidence.”
