Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly winger Percy Tau has also been released by Vietnamese side Nam Dinh FC after just one season with the club.
Tay, 32, joined the Vietnamese side after a six-month stint with Qatar SC.
The Bafana Bafana winger made 22 appearances for the club, scoring one goal and setting up four more.
Tau had missed the last seven league fixtures for his club, but returned to the line-up for the Asian Club Championship semi-finals, where his side lost 4-1 on aggregate to Selangor FC.
Nam Dinh finished sixth in the Vietnamese League 1, but have since announced a host of departures, including Tau and Kaizer Chiefs youth product Njabulo Blom.
Unlike Tau, Blom did not feature once for the club after suffering a serious injury before the start of the season.
