Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Edmilson Dove won Iraq Stars League with Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya in his first season.
Dove, 31, completed the move to Iraq in August last year after being released by Chiefs following the 2024/25 campaign.
The left-back old has since made 24 appearances for Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya and created one assists.
The Mozambican defender helped the Iraq giants to end their league drought, winning their first title in five years.
Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya won the league with 83 points in 36 games, second placed Al-Shorta finished with 76 points.
The title win means, Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya will participate in the AFC Champions League Elite.
Dove, meanwhile, celebrates the fourth trophy of his career after winning the Nedbank Cup with Chiefs last season, the MTN8 with Cape Town City in 2018 and the Mocambola – the Mozambican league – with Ferroviário de Maputo in 2015.
