Gomora United FC talisman Tiklas Thutlwa has attracted significant transfer interest from both the Betway Premiership and Tanzania following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season.

The 26-year-old forward only joined the second-tier outfit ahead of the second round of the campaign, making a remarkably swift impact after nearly two years on the sidelines.

Thutlwa was with Sekhukhune United since July 2023, joining from Black Leopards—another Limpopo-based club that had been relegated to the third tier at the time.

Midway through that season with Babina Noko, he was loaned out to Venda FC, where he unfortunately suffered a fractured leg during a friendly match against Kaizer Chiefs.

After a lengthy rehabilitation period, the attacker returned to his parent club at the end of that season before linking up with Gomora United at the start of this year.

His arrival proved instrumental in helping the newly promoted side retain their Motsepe Foundation Championship status.

In just six months with the club, Thutlwa racked up an impressive nine goals—netting eight in the league and one in the Nedbank Cup.

His stellar form has now caught the eye of three unnamed Betway Premiership sides, while a top-flight club in Tanzania is also understood to have made formal enquiries for his services.
