Orlando Pirates assistant coach Mandla Ncikazi has displayed a confident attitude ahead of their Betway Premiership do-or-die clash against ORBIT College.
The Buccaneers are away to Umswenko Boys at Mbombela Stadium on Saturday afternoon with a win dethroning Mamelodi Sundowns at the summit to be crowned Betway Premiership champions for the first time in 14 years. Anything less than that will however see Masandawana retain their league title for a ninth successive season.

ORBIT on the other find themselves in a precarious position on the log standings in 15th, three points adrift of the automatic relegation place in 16th, occupied by Magesi FC. A draw or win for the North West outfit will see them secure top-flight safety but will need both Marumo Gallants and Dikwena Tsa Meetse to drop points in their respective ties.
At Friday’s Betway presser in Mpumalanga province ahead of the clash against The Sea Robbers, ORBIT College assistant coach Kabelo Machete was quoted as saying “The tears are gonna be flowing there, but we don’t know tears are gonna be from where.”
Ncikazi on the other hand delivered a positive pre-match statement that a message has been conveyed to the players, and if the plan is executed to perfection, they will come out victorious in the encounter.
“We cannot underestimate the emtional state of the game, what’s at stake,” he told OP TV.
“But, it’s still important for us to get our facts correct. The message correctly clearly to the players, we have a game to play.
“It will be 11 players on the field, against a team that is fighting for their lives.
“We also need the points desperately, so one, we’re planning to play the match, play the Pirates way and dominate the match, score goals, create chances.
“And if we do, what we’ve prepared to do, I’m very positive that we will get the result.”
