Lamontville Golden Arrows are in talks with former TS Galaxy coach Adnan Beganovic, with Manqoba Mngqithi heavily linked with an exit.

Mngqithi’s contract is said to be nearing its end following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season, during which he guided the team to a top-eight finish.

Their top-half finish came for the first time since the 2020/21 season, when the team was still led by Mandla Ncikazi.

This website has been informed that Arrows have been in discussions with Beganovic for some time as they look for a replacement ahead of the start of the new season.

Beganovic was sacked by TS Galaxy following a poor run of results, despite having guided the team to the Nedbank Cup final.

He oversaw the Mpumalanga-based outfit in 54 matches, winning 20, drawing 13 and losing 21. He initially joined the club as an assistant coach to Sead Ramovic before being promoted to head coach.
