After the conclusion of the 2025/26 here is the iDiski Times Team of the Season, dominated by Orlando Pirates.
The Buccaneers lifted their first league title in 14 years, breaking multiple records – including a new record in points collected.
Goalkeeper Sipho Chaine also set a new record for most clean sheets, collecting 21 in 30 appearances.
Veteran left-back Deon Hotto and Relebohile Mofokeng both collected eight assists – more than any other player in the league.
As a consequence, it doesn’t surprise that all three made the Team of the Season, while Nkosinathi Sibisi, Thalente Mbatha and new signing Oswin Appollis also made the selection.
Runners-up Mamelodi Sundowns have three players in the team, namely defender Keanu Cupido, midfielder Teboho Mokoena and striker Iqraam Rayners.
The latter is joined by Golden Boot winner, Junior Dion of Golden Arrows who netted 14 times this campaign.
Dion is one of two players not from the top two in the league, with Polokwane City right-back Thabang Matuludi the other player.
