Benni McCarthy and Kenya have collected a thumping 4-0 win over Lesotho in an international friendly match at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium on Sunday.

The two sides already faced each other on Wednesday, sharing the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

However, on Sunday, the Harambee Stars lived up to their favorites tag, opening the scoring in the eighth minute via Mohammed Bajaber.

Bajaber completed his brace in the 52nd minute, and just a minute later ORBIT College’s Sekhoane Moerane got sent off for violent conduct.

McCarthy made a host of changes in the 68th minute, and his side added two more goals in the final 10 minutes of the match.

Lawrence Ouma scored in the 84th and 88th to complete the scoreline, as Kenya are now three games unbeaten.

McCarthy has been in charge of 18 games with Kenya, winning seven, losing seven and drawing the other four.

They will face Bafana Bafana in the qualification for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, where they are co-hosts alongside Uganda and Tanzania.
