Sekhukhune United are set to part ways with experienced striker Bradley Grobler, iDiski Times has learnt.

Grobler spent just one season at the Limpopo club, having joined in July last year from the now-defunct SuperSport United.

The 38-year old scored 11 goals and provided two assists in all competitions. He rattled in eight goals in the Betway Premiership, one in the Carling Knockout Cup and two in the MTN8.

The veteran striker struggled for regular game time due to persistent injuries that kept him sidelined. His absence heavily impacted Babina Noko’s strong finish to the campaign, as he was forced to miss the final eight matches.

A prolific goal-scorer, Grobler has consistently excelled in the Betway Premiership, winning the Golden Boot in 2021/22 season with 16 goals.

Throughout his illustrious career, the former SuperSport United striker has scored over 130 goals in more than 400 top-flight appearances, accumulating numerous honours including two Nedbank Cup trophies, an MTN8 title, and a Carling Knockout Cup. He achieved all these trophies with Matsatsantsa.
