South African coach Mandla Qhogi has been named Coach of the Season in eSwatini after winning treble in his first season.
Qhogi had an outstanding season in eSwatini where he won three trophies in his first stint. The South African mentor joined eSwatini side at the beginning of 2024/25 season after leaving Milford FC.
In his arrival, his side Nsingizini Hotspurs got eliminated from the CAF Champions League by Simba SC, before winning Ingwenya Cup. Months later, Qhogi’s side won second trophy of the season BBET Trade Fair Cup and closed the chapter with MTN Premier League.
In the night of MTN Premier League eSwatini awards, Qhogi was named coach of the season which was a cherry on top for him.
While a handful of clubs have registered an interest in Qhogi, questions remain over whether the South African tactician will return to eSwatini for the new campaign. For the time being, his immediate focus is simply to rest and recharge.
