iDiski Times has established that AmaZulu have secured the services of midfielder Gape Moralo ahead of the 2026/27 season.

As previously reported by this publication, the 26-year-old parted ways with Siwelele at the conclusion of the last season with his contract expiring at the end of June.

The move sees Moralo join Usuthu on a free transfer, with the club set to begin pre-season preparations for the new campaign in the coming weeks.

iDiski Times has been informed that the deal has now been finalised, with Moralo strengthening the midfield department following Bongani Zungu’s departure at the end of his contract.

Moralo has been regarded as one of the country’s most exciting talents since emerging at the now-defunct Matsatsantsa.

He joined the club in 2018 from the Transnet School of Excellence and initially featured for their DDC side before earning promotion to the senior team in 2020.

The midfielder spent five seasons with SuperSport before the club was sold to Siwelele. After spending one season there, he is now set to move to Durban and join the Sandile Zungu-owned outfit.
