Mamelodi Sundowns fitness coach Mathias Zangenberg has returned to his home country and joined Denmark giants Brøndbyernes Idrætsforening.
Zangenberg had been at Chloorkop for three years and helped the Tshwane giants to win two league titles, the CAF Champions League and the African Football League.

He played a massive role in Sundowns’ campaigns over the past three seasons, as he kept the team fit and managed them throughout their tough fixture schedule which saw them jump between domestic competitions, and CAFCL.
The 47-year old was also the part of Sundowns side shocked the world in the FIFA World Club Cup playing shoe shine and piano.
Zangenberg joining Bröndby IF comes as no shock, as he has been previously at one of the top sides in Denmark, Aarhus GF for two seasons.
Bröndby IF failed to qualify for European football after losing the European playoff to FC København 3-1 after extra-time.
