Kaizer Chiefs Ladies recorded a thumping 6-2 win over MITO Stars in the Gauteng Sasol Womens League at Naturena Village on Saturday afternoon.

Despite being debutants, Amakhosazana have made a statement and immediate intent to gain promotion to the Hollywoodbets Super League next season with their ever-improving performances.

Since formation of the club after their amalgamation with Springs Home Sweepers in March this year, Unathi Mabena’s charges have been very impressive.

They have so far suffered just a single defeat which was a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies in their season opener.

Since then, they have gone seven matches unbeaten, winning five of those and playing to two draws, which was against Wits University and Emmarentia Pirates.

Saturday was no different as they displayed a dominant performance at home, racing into a comfortable 3-1 lead at the break.
