The draw for the 2021 Cosafa Cup was made on Thursday, as Bafana Bafana learnt who their opponents will be in next month’s tournament.
It is the 20th edition of the Cosafa Cup, and it will be hosted in Gqeberha this year. This version will have a new format with three groups of four teams.
Bafana have been drawn in Group A alongside Lesotho, Eswatini and Botswana.
The tournament also features Senegal as a guest nation, and the continent’s highest ranked country will play in Group C.
The tournament kicks off on the 7th of July.
Group A: South Africa, Lesotho, Eswatini, Botswana
Group B: Zambia, Malawi, Madagascar, Comoros
Group C: Senegal, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Namibia
