Durban City have confirmed the departures of nine players as they have started to reshape their squad ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The KZN outfit returned for pre-season a week ago and have already begun preparations for the new campaign.

The club has also ushered in a new era under head coach Khalil Ben Youssef, who takes over following the departure of interim coach Pitso Dladla.

Dladla enjoyed a memorable short spell in charge on an interim basis at the club, guiding City to Nedbank Cup success and securing a spot in the top eight.

Now, as part of that rebuilding process, the club has confirmed the exits of nine players.

Terrence Mashego, Taahir Goedeman, Ronaldo Maarman and Siphiwe Mahlangu have all returned to their parent clubs after spending last season on loan at Durban City.

Meanwhile, Falakhe Tshanini, Odwa Nyulu, Joslin Kamatuka, Onele Rulwana and Lindokuhle Chonco will officially leave the club when their contracts expire on 30 June.
