Cape Town City have decided to part ways with young midfielder Xhosa Manyana, who was on loan at Kaizer Chiefs last season.
iDiskiTimes have it on good authority that the Citizens reached an agreement with the midfielder to part ways.
The 20-year-old midfielder, who is capable of playing across the pitch, is a junior international, and was part of the COSAFA-winning Amajita squad in 2024.
He has had a great start of his career, winning the Engen Knockout Challenge with Cape Town City. His midfield skills saw him earning a loan move to MLS side FC Cincinnati before the short loan-spell with Chiefs.
His exit from City comes as no surprise as he hasn’t got a chance to showcase the talent at the senior side, only playing in the club’s reserve side before City’s relegation.
There have been a few Premier Soccer League sides monitoring the South African U20 midfielder.
