Kaizer Chiefs youngster Mfundo Vilakazi has extended his well wishes to Relebohile Mofokeng ahead of his move to Belgian Pro League outfit Royale Union Saint-Gilloise.

Orlando Pirates confirmed via a lengthy statement on Wednesday morning that they had reached an agreement with USG for the transfer of Mofokeng.

The two youngsters have emerged from Kaizer Chiefs and Pirates’ DStv Diski Challenge squads respectively before earning promotions to the senior teams.

Despite the rivalry of being on opposite ends of Soweto’s biggest teams, the two once played in the same team which was for the Carling All Stars in December 2024 against Magesi FC, a match they won 3-0 to be crowned Carling Black Label Cup champions.

‘Obrigado’ took to his Instagram story to wish ‘President Yama2k’ well on his European journey that awaits him at the 2026 Belgian Cup champions.

“My heart is full… All the best Njak, God bless you President yama 2K,” the Amakhosi youngster said.
