CAF Champions League winners Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed the acquisition of exciting youngster Siyanda Ndlovu from Golden Arrows, as first called by iDiski Times.

Ndlovu, 22, was subject of interest from Orlando Pirates and came very close to joining the Buccaneers but has since been snapped up by Masandawana.

A club-to-club agreement had been reached between Arrows and Pirates, who appeared to have beaten Sundowns to the player’s signature.

“Skhwishi” even completed his medical at Mayfair on Thursday last week. However, when the two parties discussed personal terms, the player did not agree to the package tabled by Ezimnyama Ngenkani.

The Brazilians then pounced on his signature and have now announced his signing.

Ndlovu featured in 31 matches across all competitions last season for Abafana Bes’thende, contributing four goals and eight assists.

During his time with the Durban-based outfit, he made a total of 74 appearances, scoring eight goals and providing 13 assists.

He becomes Sundowns’ second signing ahead of the 2026/27 campaign after Antonio Van Wyk was signed from Austrian Bundesliga outfit SV Ried.
