Mamelodi Sundowns are set to face Karim Benzema’s Al Hilal among a series of high-profile pre-season friendlies as they prepare for the new campaign.
The Brazilians are heading to Austria for their pre-season tour after already beginning their preparations with training sessions in Pretoria.

Miguel Cardoso’s side will face Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg on 18 July before taking on Saudi Pro League outfit Al Hilal on 24 July.
The Tshwane giants will also come up against Algerian side MC Alger, a familiar opponent from the CAF Champions League.
Masandawana are preparing for a demanding season on the domestic, continental and international fronts.
Sundowns will compete in four domestic competitions, including the Betway Premiership and the country’s major cup competitions.
On the continent, they will defend their CAF Champions League title while also competing in the CAF Super Cup.
On the global stage, Sundowns will feature in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup. As African champions, they enter the competition in the second round, where they will face the winner of the clash between Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli and New Zealand’s Auckland FC.
