Neo Maema, who is on loan at Simba SC from Mamelodi Sundowns, has commented on his future following the end of the season.
The left-footed midfielder joined the Tanzanian giants at the start of the season and helped the club win two trophies under the guidance of South African coach Steve Barker.
Maema said “anything is possible” regarding his future, adding that he is waiting to see how the situation unfolds.
“No comment, but anything is possible,” said Maema during the interview with Juma Ayo.
“I love the club, we just see how it goes.”
Meanwhile, he admitted that moving to Simba was not easy, saying it took him some time to adapt before finding his feet at the club.
“In this season, it wasn’t so easy for me,” Maema added.
“When the season started, I had to adapt, I had to fight for my place like any other player.
“But I’m happy that I finally got my groove going. But I feel like I can still improve, there’s still some areas that I can improve.
“But I’m happy, what’s more important is the team. I think if the guys can give the top performance week in week out, I feel like we can be better as a team.”
